Fredens Eng at Fredens Ark, Christiania

DJ Storm (UK)
Affectionately dubbed the ‘First Lady of Drum & Bass,’ Storm has been involved from the very start of the Metalheadz label alongside her great friend and DJ partner Kemistry. Known for tight mixing skills and an exclusive selection, Storm’s contribution has been critical in building the reputation Metalheadz has today. She has toured the world over and continues to enthral crowds with her powerful and professional style, and is also revered outside of the drum’n’bass community.

CCL (US)
Few dj’s are as expansive in their approach to genre and scope as CCL. With an uncannily creative approach to mixing and a ravenous appetite for music of all kinds, CCL unites the unimaginable, weaving music together through distinct narratives that open wormholes between all genres and tempos. Expect to travel through everything from infectious steppers, psychedelic techno, bubbling drum’n’bass and twisted dub to dusty 80s synths, glittering footwork, supple house  and psychedelic post-punk guitars.

Hewan Aman (FR)
Based in Paris, Hewan Aman distills trance, psy and dub inspirations into her mixes, infused with both her Franco-Ethiopian heritage and rave and techno culture. Through her selections, she works on meticulous narrations that combine granular soundscapes with captivating grooves. Patchworks that at times resonate as strong, fast-paced vibes – and at other times slower and more experimental atmospheres.

The location

Fredens Eng (The Field of Peace) has hosted everything from soccer tournaments to spiritual summits, jungle techno parties and peace festivals through the years and is located next to Fredens Ark (The Ark of Peace) – the largest building in Christiania (built in 1837 and originally the main building of the army barracks used for officers’ quarters and dormitory.)
