For the opening night at this years Strøm Festival, we are going to space.
Rumpistol takes the stage at Bremen Theatre with a stellar line-up of musicians, blending electronic soundscapes with jazz, space rock, and neoclassical sounds – illuminated by a cosmic light show from the Reumert-nominated light collective Vertigo.
On September 3rd, Rumpistol and an all-star team of musicians will take over Bremen Theatre with the massive audiovisual work NEBULA – a tribute to the universe.
The music is based on Rumpistol’s latest album “Going Inside” (which was widely praised for its cinematic blend of electronic music, melodic jazz, space rock and neoclassical music) as well as music from the entire back catalogue.
The Reumert-nominated light collective Vertigo brings an impressive light show to the concert, creating a cosmic blanket of black holes and stardust. Known for their ambitious light installations, scenographies and immersive experiences, Vertigo has previously collaborated with Den Sorte Skole, Hotel Pro Forma, DR and Roskilde Festival.
Since the release of “After The Flood” in 2019, Rumpistol has been exploring how his work can be transformed on stage with a live ensemble. This has led to concerts both at home and abroad, where the ensemble has honed their expression – from intimate venues to two sold-out concerts at Hotel Cecil in January 2023 and a performance at the leading Fusion Festival (DE) in June.
