Electronic anthems, live from the grand bell tower of Frederiksberg City Hall.
Polish percussionist and carillioneur Joanna Stroz will perform uplifting and experimental anthems from the vaults of electronic music history through the grand bell tower of Frederiksberg City Hall.
The experienced musician will play interpretations of well known and less known tracks from the electronic underground through four decades.
The playlist consists of curious and playful melodies, spanning from defining, early IDM to house, techno and dubstep anthems.
Amongst the classics on this year’s tracklist are tunes by Aphex Twin, Karsten Pflum and Skream.

Mer’ Strøm: The history of Strøm at the Bell Tower
Strøm has techno’fied the bell tower of Frederiksberg City Hall four times before:
The very first time Joanna Stroz played techno classics in the bell tower was in 2015, and from 2015 to 2017, the bells and Stroz were a part of the festival, playing everything from Massive Attack to Bjørn Svin.
In 2021, the bells were back, and Strøm Festival started and ended with electronic classics from the carillon once again.
ABOUT JOANNA STROZ
Polish born percussionist and carillonneur Joanna Stroz graduated from the Music Academy in Krakow in 2003 and is a guest carillonneur at Frederiksberg City Hall and our Saviour’s Church in Copenhagen.
