Tap into Strøm anno 2026: We have switched up the format from Strøm once a year to Strøm all year. From an annual festival peak to the constant pulse of a year-round national platform.
Strøm translates both into ‘electricity’, ‘current’ and ‘power’, and with Strøm flowing throughout the year, we can channel even more energy into our numerous collaborations and projects, powering new encounters and connections along the way.
In 2026 (and further ahead into the future) several of our flagship events return as stand-alone experiences, each with more room to unfold and resonate.
On September 27, the Trans Metro Express rolls through the Copenhagen Metro again (watch this space for much more info on that one in the upcoming weeks).
On October 9th, we are back in the massive B&W Halls in Refshaleøen with another large-scale sound and light installation; our third collaboration with Båll & Brand and The Royal Danish Theatre as part of Kulturnatten.
Later this month, Strøm Sound System will be in Valby, and there are several upcoming dates for September.
Strøm til Børn hosts event all over the country these months and will be at both Kulturmødet and Aarhus Festuge.
This week, we present the sound installation ‘A Place of Transit’ by Xuri and John Cleworth at Lydbrøndene at Solbjerg Plads (until this Sunday)
And watch out for open calls for our studios in the fall.

Strøm from 2006 to 2026
Strøm has supported and developed electronic music culture through events, knowledge sharing and community building since 2006, and with the power accumulated from the last two decades, we will carry that energy forward, hosting concerts, workshops, talks, installations and residencies across Denmark, and providing spaces for everyone to engage with the scene.
