As we’re about to wrap up 2025 we asked the Strøm curator group to pick out their EOY favourites. First up is Esther aka N.E.GIRL sharing 10 DJs to watch in 2026

 – Besides DJ’ing and community-focused work at Another Life, recently N.E.GIRL  has been involved in a freshly started DJ program at Drift Radio in Copehagen and as a mentor at Now You Know curator collective in Aarhus.

Explore her list and find deep dnb, grime and hypnotic techno.

Silva Snipa

I’ve heard Silva Snipa a few times, and in every set her selections and energy keep the crowd locked in. From her radio shows, club or big stage festival sets, she is one of my favourite dnb selectors, especially for how she selects from those early, foundational years of the genre. @silva1snipa

Gloria Rose

Their set at Fold a couple of years ago was so smooth, and I’ve been a fan ever since. Such a talented hard groove DJ, and one of my favourites for listening to deep hypnotic techno. @_gloria__rose_

i-sha

i-sha is a Bristol based DJ I first heard in London in 2023. You can tell she spends serious time digging for weird, deep tunes that rarely get played, and after her b2b at Draaimolen I’m keen to see what she has booked in 2026. @i_shaaaaa_v

Kate Miao

Kate Miao is a Copenhagen-based DJ who plays both high-energy and darker styles. I’ve heard her play at Den Anden Side a few times, and each set is creative technically and in selections. @kate.miao.dj

Toura

Such a skilled DJ and producer, blending percussive sounds with grime and techno in both their sets and productions. I’ve played a lot of Toura in my own sets lately, but I first came across him through Oblig’s Obligated Records. @ __toura

SI*BL

One of my favourite DJs from the new wave of grime selectors. Technically, he leans more toward a clash style and can blend all kinds of rhythms and tempos together tightly. @si.bl_

MARY HARP

Mary Harp mixes jungle like butter. Each set feels like an education in old and new school jungle, especially the set she played at Beat Symposium this summer. I’m looking forward to hearing her play more in 2026. @mary_harp_

Pink.wav

Bass weight DJ based in Athens, I love every guest mix Pink.wav has put out. Moving between dubstep, deep techno, grime and left-field selections, Im keen to see what else is coming. @_pink.wav

Aerae

French DJ who plays the deeper dnb and is my go-to when it comes to the French bass scene that I’ve been enjoying lately. I recommend her Operator Radio mix to get started and then explore Samurai Music if you’re interested in her selections. @_aerae__

Scratcha DVA

A legend for those who know. Listening to either his radio shows or club sets, you can hear he’s a specialist in grime, gqom, amapiano and everything in between. I recommend his 2013 Hyperdub mix to cleanse your DJ fatigue palette. @scratchclart
